More snakes, but this time on a plane

Well, it has been a long time since I put up a post.

On a bit of a coincidental segue from my last post, I went to see "Snakes on a Plane" last night, which was surprisingly good. My friend thought thought the snakes looked real. However, I swear that some of them looked like they were smiling at their victims! Anyway, for a good laugh and a few chills, I highly recommend it.

What is new with me?
-Discovered igaunas ate my newly planted caladiums. -Went to my friend Scott's place for a BRBQ on Labor Day weekend. Played Taboo and debated socialism and cars.
-Talked to my friend Kevin -- first time with a voice in years! - a few days ago. It was *really* great to catch up with him.
-Had a nice visit with my friend Stephanie from Toronto. She had the misfortune of being here during our fortunately fake hurricane, Ernesto. Big relief it was a non-event.
-Went back to Canada last month.
-Went to the Keys to help celebrate my friend Beth's 40th birthday. We went to a great Japanese fusion restaurant, but the rest of the weekend was so insanely hot we all left early! (Even stronger sun than FtL.)
